My teaching of playwriting is informed by my translation of drama old and new, and my directing, as well as my classroom experience. I strive both to honor writers’ imaginations and to help them to embrace a variety of ways to tell stories on stage.
A Pacific Northwest based artist, Kory Weimer has been actively working on his dream for over 30 years now on and off the stage, as an actor, director, and fight master. Primarily an on stage performer, he has been dipping his toes into the world of voice acting, as well as streaming content on various sites online. He is beyond pleased to be working once again with Chicago Dramatists.
