But soft, what light through yonder Twitch Stream breaks?

Our 48Hr. Festival is returning Saturday April 23rd at 2:00pm CT!

This festival brings together a group of playwrights, actors, and directors to create new ten minute plays in just two days! These plays will be performed on our Twitch channel: twitch.tv/chicagodramatists

Artists and audience members will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite play, by donating using our Txt2Give feature. The plays that receive the most total donations and most amount donated will each receive free registration in our Summer Classes.

As well, this month we have a prize for the audience member who donates the highest total amount! The highest donor will receive free tickets to our August 6th Gala –which will be live and in person for the first time in two years!

So go forth and mark thine calendar for this auspicious occasion on everyone’s most prestigious of Holidays: Talk Like Shakespeare Day. (Please note: the actual plays will likely have little to nothing to do with Shakespeare or his contemporaries, or maybe they all will, that’s up to the artists’ discretion, join us and find out!)
