June 12, 2010 - A Wonderful Event with Friends!
On the evening of June 13th, 2010, Chicago Dramatists hosted our third annual Blue Moon Ball where 200 actors, playwrights and friends of the theatre celebrated the successes of the season! Gala Chairs, Carla Salvo and Brian Loevner and the evening’s emcees, Resident Playwright Alice Austin and Associate Artist Randy Steinmeyer led the evening’s festivities with included cocktails, a vast and creative silent auction, mystery wine table, urban clowning, a slight of hand magician, dinner, a thrilling live auction featuring a Tesla Roadster Weekend, “Tavoli di Amica” Dinner and Drinks for ten at Mia Francesca, Simpson Collectibles Package, Chicago Dramatists themed art created on-site by Speed Painter Elliot From, Sunset Sail aboard Speakeasy, and the Ultimate Broadway in Chicago Weekend. The evening culminated with the crowd on its feet, shaking it to the music of Rhapsody Orchestra. Thanks to our friends who joined us at the soiree!
