About the Musicals Track

The Musicals track is designed to provide playwrights with a solid foundation for writing musical theatre. It consists of four courses:

  • Musical Theatre Writing: The Secret Life of the American Musical
  • Musicals in Process
  • Musical Theatre Bootcamp
  • Lyric Lab

Musical Theatre Writing is a prerequisite for Musicals in Process. Musical Theatre Intensive and Lyric Lab may be taken out of sequence with the other two courses.
